About Me
Hi, I’m Rafael! I’m a computer science student at the University of South Florida who’s always looking to grow, build cool things, and make an impact. I recently interned at Chime where I help build tools that make life easier for customer support teams.
I started out coding at a small company, MTW Solutions, back in Kansas City. We didn’t use fancy frameworks, just real logic and real problems. That experience taught me how to think through challenges and take ownership .
At USF, I lead SHPE’s external team. We connect students to companies, host events with NASA and Amazon, and raise funding to create opportunities for our 1,200+ members.
I’m always learning, whether it’s Spanish, machine learning, AI tools, or stepping out of my comfort zone with boxing, guitar, bachata, and salsa.
